A new resource for social innovators!

The Waterloo Institute for Social Innovation and Resilience (WISIR), housed at the University of Waterloo, recently launched a new Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), Social innovation for complex problems.

Through three comprehensive courses—Complex systems and problems; Seeing and describing systems; and Social innovation and system entrepreneurship—video lectures, coaching, and activities are provided to deepen your understanding of the systems in which you live and work, and increase your capacity to make positive change happen.

Canadian Open Data Summit

The Summit is an annual event where the most pressing challenges facing the open data community are addressed on a national scale. RECODE is pleased to be among the partners’ supporting this event.

Travel Grants Available:

With support from RECODE and the Community Knowledge Exchange, the Summit will provide travel grants to Canadian open data leaders, including five to Canadian youth leaders enrolled at a Canadian college or university. Deadline to apply is April 2.
