BC Collaborative on Social Infrastructure

Together, University of Northern British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, BC Institute of Technology, and Vancouver Island University have established the first-ever “BC Collaborative for Social Infrastructure.”

Their vision is to work together to build social and environmental sustainability in their communities.

They will focus on four areas:

  1. Green and sustainable campus and community building
  2. Indigenous entrepreneurship and social finance
  3. Social procurement
  4. Library outreach and community scholar programs

These institutions will use their collective strengths to make real positive impact in communities. Then they will share their practices and lessons-learned out to other post-secondary institutions and across Canada.
