College and institutes play a critical role in creating positive social impact in Canada, in ways that are unique to other players in the education system. However, during this period of intense change and disruption, the way in which these institutions continue to deliver positive impact is changing. Increasingly, there is an imperative for schools to engage not individually, but collectively on projects, around shared values for the sector as a whole.
A new project led by CICan and supported by Re-Code, supports a series of collaborative projects among colleges and institutes that pursue specific, well-defined opportunities to foster social and economic inclusion. This five-year project is in early stages, and will be updated with specifics as they emerge.
